Nelson Mbigili
Computer Science Student at New York University Abu Dhabi (He/Him)
Hi, I’m Nelson, a computer science senior at NYU Abu Dhabi.
I spend most of my time building software: applications, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and the rest figuring out how to keep it all secure. That curiosity led me to a capstone on defending 5G satellite networks against spoofing attacks, and to coursework in network and systems security that changed how I think about everything I write.
Outside of class, I hike, explore new cities, and tinker with side projects (currently building a peer-to-peer marketplace back home in Tanzania). I’m always up for a conversation about tech, startups, or whatever you’re working on.
